Michigan Schools save Money with REMC and Spectrum

Description: Michigan schools are saving money without enduring the bid process themselves through REMC $ave Project and Spectrum on educational technology furniture.

CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI – Spectrum Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been listed as an awardee of the REMC Association of Michigan’s 2017 – 2018 Supplies & Equipment bid.

“By using REMC SAVE contracts, Michigan schools have saved more than $59 million in 2015 alone,” Said Judy Steinmetz, Spectrum Industries, Inc. Contract Manager. “Every dollar saved through REMC SAVE today is one more dollar to invest in instruction tomorrow.”

The REMC SAVE mission is to save schools both time and money by providing bids compliant with the Michigan Revised School Code. As a service of the REMC Association of Michigan for all Michigan schools, the REMC SAVE Project allows schools to buy without bidding by providing large volume contracts for a variety of educational resources.

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of high quality furnishings for educational settings in K-12, Higher Ed and corporate settings including computer labs, classrooms, video conferencing, collaboration and mobile computer charge and storage solutions.
